There is a new Daisy girl in town. Frida Gustavvson for Marc Jacobs Daisy by Juergen Teller. Beautiful.
Alexander Wang F/W 2010
Posted by Marina Milojkovic Aug, 2010 at 11:44 under CampaignsWe almost looked through every fall 2010 campaign and here is the last one by Alexander Wang. Abbey Lee by Craig McDean. It is rough and I like it. The video campaign is even better. Although with this rougness I would like to see another model. To me Abbey Lee feels like a young girl and not as though as a Wang girl.
T by Alexander Wang. Zoe Kravitz by Daniel Jackson. It is simple, black and white, just like the T collections.
Awesome Levis Ad
Posted by Cami Aug, 2010 at 3:49 under CampaignsSaw this on Houston street and it blew my mind. The gears all move and the type says “we are all workers”
I love Levis:
What is going on? (post by Marina)
Posted by Marina Milojkovic Aug, 2010 at 10:19 under Campaigns, General, PersonalHi readers!, how is your summer? Mine is great. Relaxing and just calm as I want it. How are you liking the New York blog? I will be back in about 3 weeks. However, I thought I would give you a update of what is going on in my life and also what is new in the fashion world.
I wont be here for Stockholm fashion week but if you want to go here is the schedule for the shows.
Also, the New York and Paris schedules are up! Fantastic. Perhaps I will be at Paris fashion week.
Some new campaign are here as well. I have been waiting for the Stella McCartney campaign and here it is, so beautiful! Natalie Vodianova is just magical. This one is close to being my favorite this season. I love the simpleness with the playfullness, brilliant.
More images from the Balenciaga campaign which is really on fire. I find it interesting though. Something about it feels very modern.
Another favorite, Jil Sander. Kasia Struss and Miranda Kerr by Willy Vanderperre. As always with Jil Sander, minimalistic, magical and beautiful.
Another one by beautiful Céline.
There is also some sad news in the fashion world. Marc Jacobs recently broke up with his boyfriend Lorenzo Martone. He is not commenting on it. However, the world of Marc Jacobs is just growing. On his show date (Sept. 15) he will be opening up his talked about bookstore, Bookmarc. Like this is not enough. Marc is also, on the same date, launching his e-commerce site for US customers. The site will also have different items than can be found on other retailers that sell Jacobs’s wares online. Congratulations Marc!
Sofia Coppola is directing for Dior again. Coppola was snapped just short of a week ago filming a Dior advertisement in Paris; she reportedly worked with Natalie Portman, who signed to be the face of Parfums Christian Dior last month, and her cousin Robert Schwartzman (brother to Jason Schwartzman) in the Parc Monceau last Monday and Tuesday.
There also plenty of other rumors in the fashion world right now and I can not wait to see how this will turn out. The rumors are saying that three unnamed designer are shifting houses. Stefano Pilati is leaving Yves Saint Laurent for Armani, and Armani himself is retaring. Who will then take over at YSL? Well, the rumor is saying that no other than Hedi Slimane is. Interesting.
This is so exciting, I almost can not wait. I love ballet and I love Rodarte. Sisters Laura and Kate Mulleavy designed 40 costumes for the film Black Swan by Darren Aronofsky (which will open the Venice Film Festival on Sept. 1 ). The thriller is starring Natalie Portman as a ballerina. Beautiful.
Art news. The wonderfull Whitney museum has plans for a new loction, the meatpacking district. The building, set to be completed in 2015 and will probably be extraordinary.

Jaeger, Jimmy Choo, Jean Paul Gaultier, Kenzo, Moschino, F/W 10
Posted by Marina Milojkovic Jul, 2010 at 4:42 under CampaignsAnother black and white campaign, how many are they now? Well, this is Abbey Lee Kershaw for Jaeger.
Amber Valetta for Jimmy Choo. Sexy!
Both Jean Paul Gaultier and Kenzo feels very etno inspired. Crystal Renn, Emma Xie and Kelly Moreira by Inez and Vinoodh for Jean Paul Gaultier.
Lily Donaldson and Sasha Pivovarova by Mario Sorrenti.
Céline, Balenciaga F/W 2010
Posted by Marina Milojkovic Jul, 2010 at 2:15 under CampaignsJuergen Teller is the man behind the camera for the fall 2010 Céline campaign and perhaps that is why it looks a lot like a Marc Jacobs campaign. The hard light and the simple styling, I am loving it.
Mirte Maas, Kirsi P and Stella Tennant by Steven Meisel for Balenciaga. I am not liking this, boring. To much colors and well, not my taste.
Fendi F/W 10
Posted by Marina Milojkovic Jul, 2010 at 10:43 under CampaignsThis is a very interesting campaign. First of all, it does not look like Anja Rubik at all. It looks like some doll. Sesond, this is so not Karl Lagerfeld if you ask me. Meaning, I really like this. The fall 2010 Fendi campaign resembles stills from a movie and is very Edward Hopper like with its vibes. As I said, I like it, it is intense and more than a campaign, it is art.
Loewe F/W 2010
Posted by Marina Milojkovic Jul, 2010 at 4:48 under CampaignsI am not usually a fan of Loewe, not a brand I am wearing. However, out of all the campaigns so far Loewe’s fall 2010 campaign is my favorite. Models Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Rosie Huntington Whiteley.
I love the images, the light, and how the bags are introduced. These images are just beautiful to look at and that to me is a strong campaign, just like Chloé does season after season.
Chanel F/W 2010
Posted by Marina Milojkovic Jul, 2010 at 3:46 under CampaignsKarl Lagerfeld photographed models Abbey Lee Kershaw and Freja Beha Erichsen on the streets of Soho in New York for the fall Chanel ad. I remember the fall collection as tacky, with the fur and all. Who will wear it? I still ask myself. Anyway, here is the campaign for the collection. Streets of New York in fur outfits? No, the match is not made in heaven. This is not New York at all, why set it there Karl? At leaste the models looks good, and the light.
Ps: I really like the first image though..
Hermés F/W 2010
Posted by Marina Milojkovic Jul, 2010 at 3:58 under CampaignsConstance Jablonski by Paolo Roversi for Hermés. I am loving the leather. However, it is a rather boring campaign and her expression is kind of weird? This is also black and white in a way..
