Céline, Balenciaga F/W 2010

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Jul, 2010 at 2:15 under Campaigns

Juergen Teller is the man behind the camera for the fall 2010 Céline campaign and perhaps that is why it looks a lot like a Marc Jacobs campaign. The hard light and the simple styling, I am loving it.

Mirte Maas, Kirsi P and Stella Tennant by Steven Meisel for Balenciaga. I am not liking this, boring. To much colors and well, not my taste.

Resort 2011, Céline

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Jun, 2010 at 10:09 under Collections

First of all, the shoes. The shoes! So beautiful. Love the shape of them. And the jewelry, the hard silver bangels, perfect.
Phoebe Philo’s resort collection for Céline feels a little different from her latest collections. There are a lot of color and patterns, like red, green, yellow and blue. Colors are blocked in a nice white, although I could not pull of that much color at once. Phoebe is still all about the basics, a nice skirt, a great pair of trousers, paired with a minilaistic top. A look I very much liked are the ones with trousers paired with a dress. This is something I have always worn, and love to wear.
I like the resort 2011 collection and understand what Phoebe wants which I am all for. The classic Céline bag is still there, and I am starting to wanting it more than I should.

The Gentlewoman

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Mar, 2010 at 10:01 under General

I always thought the magazine Fantastic Man is beautiful and that there should be a female version of it. Now there is, The Gentlewoman. Although they have nothing to do with eachother they look a bit alike. The first issue comes out March 22 and has Designer Phoebe Philo on the cover.

Sonia Rykiel is one of my favorite women in the world and I love her designs. For fall it is always a lot of knits and so it is for fall 2010. Something new for Sonia Rykiel is that she is inspired by menswear for the collection. Big slouchy jackets and trousers. I love the beige and grey tones paired with hot red. The collection is playfull like always and every piece looks comfortable.

Phoebe Philo for Celine is creating more buzz than ever. Her spring 2010 collection is on every ones lips and so will the fall collection be. She is staying true to her designs, minimalistic with strong beautiful tailoring. While the spring collection was beige this one is more dark. This for sure is the modern way of sculpturing a woman.

Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy thought of the ski and scuba world for his fall 2010 collection. The collection is black, beige red, fierce and beautiful.

Sexy and girly at Costume National.

Sexy trousers with Karl Lagerfeld.

Fendi, Celine SS 10

Anja Rubik for Fendi. I love the light. Overall it is boring, a little to simple.

This however is magic. You can really see that Juergen Teller did this campaign wich is beautiful. It reminds me of Marc Jacobs. I love this.

Campaign Rumors

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Oct, 2009 at 11:30 under Campaigns

More campaign rumors flying around. It is said that the spring season will be a safe one for campaigns. Phoebe Philo is said to be using Jurgen Teller and models Valerija Kelava and Carmen Kass for her first Celine campaign.
Natalia Vodianova is rumored to be the next supermodel for YSL photographed by Inez and Vinoodh. I really want to see that one.

Paris Fashion Week, YSL, Celine, Stella McCartney, Vanessa Bruno

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Oct, 2009 at 12:32 under Collections

What is going on with Stefano Pilati for Yves Saint Laurent? This is horrible. It is supposed to be minimalism, chic, natural and modern. To me it is just boring. There is nothing interesting going on, and what’s up with the strawberries on the clothes? No, this is not magic.

Phoebe Philo first collection for Celine and I like it. It feels fresh and a new take on minimalism. The collection is fresh with a lot of khaki. This is almost magic.

Stella McCartney, one of my favorites, knows how to dress a women sexy and comfortable. Season after season she proves that less is more and that it is all about the fit and the details. The collection is more colorful than I am used to with Stella. However, it is magic.

I have some stuff in my closet from Vanessa Bruno and I love them all. Some I had for a long time and some are new. This proves that Vanessa Bruno has been a favorite of mine for a while and she never goes out of style. This collection is all about the lace. It is very beautiful.

Chloe/Celine Resort 2010

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Jun, 2009 at 11:10 under Collections
