This is by far one of my favorite men’s collections ever. Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton. The collection it self is just perfect for a man. Strong tailored pieces paired with everyday pieces, simple meets structured. The colors are warm, and earthy. Beige, White, Greige, Blue and green are some of the colors. Every look is beautiful. Marc Jacobs also teamed up with New York based tattoo-artist Scott Campbell for some tattoos on the models and bags for spring 2011. Although I love the magical collection I do not like the costumized leather bags by Scott.

Yves Saint Laurent just like Louis Vuitton used colors like black, beige and greige for spring 2011. However, this collection is much more minimal with big suits and feminine inspired pieces.

Modern rock’n roll with Balmain.

Comme des Garcons presented a well dressed punk goth boy for spring 2011.

An 80’s inspired collection by lovely Dries Van Noten. I love the pollock splashes. Beautiful collection.

If you ask Givenchy the leopard pattern is huge for spring 2011 (love). Ricardo Tisci paired this with tight fits and colors like black, white and beige. Cool, the leopard bomber jacket is awsome.

A beautifull light and basic collection by Hermés. Also a favorite.

I love greige!!! Here seen on pieces by Kris Van Assche.

Raf Simons became very avantgarde for his spring 2011 collection. Proportions and volume is questioned.. very interesting.

Rick Owens, the one who creates art by his interesting design ideas. Are the pieces wearble? Do men want to look like modern nunes? Well, I am not the man to decide that. However, they are beautiful. And he is a one of a kind master.

We already talked about the resort 2011 collection by Alexander Wang so lets see what some other desigers are doing for next years vecation. Donna Karan wants us to be sexy in black, white, and silver.

Burberry Prorsum is the new Balmain. I feel like all their collections look the same. Although it is boring it is looking good. I just want to see something new from the house.

Girly and cute with Vena Cava.

Stefano Pilati’s Yves Saint Laurent is very ladylike and not that though that I like it to be. I do like the fact that there was a lot of colors for YSL. Both strong pink and red.

Marc by Marc Jacobs is as always beautiful and playfull. A lot of pastels and black/white. The collection is inspired by lingerie and dancers, I love it.

Angela Missoni described her collection as “strong, with lots of character and color.” And it is. I also feel like it was inspired by Africa.

Yigal Azrouel is minimalistic and modern for resort 2011. I want to wear it all. Loose styles, black and white. This is magic.

Paris Fashion Week, Stella McCartney, Vanessa Bruno, YSL

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Mar, 2010 at 6:12 under Collections

Stella McCartney is one of the best designers out there if you ask me. She really understands women. The pieces are always comfortable and you feel beautiful in them. There are so many good looks for fall 2010. The collection is sexy yet classy.

For fall 2010 Vanessa Bruno was inspired by people going to their dance classes. Dressed comfortable in leggings and clothes that move. This is a brilliant idea if you ask me. Beautiful.

Stefano Pilati may not have said it himself. However, the religious symbolism is everywhere for his fall 2010 collection. Not one of my favorite collection I have to say.

Men’s Fashion Week, YSL, Givenchy, Kris Van Assche, Rick Owens

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Jan, 2010 at 7:56 under Collections

It is very dark and moody in Paris, wich I like. Rick Owens is the master of this with his draping. The fall collection however was a bit softer than I am used to with Owens. Warm and earthy colors with snake boots. And the coats are just magical.

Kris Van Assche showed a very powerfull collection all in my taste. Comfortable suits with boots.

Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy, you can never go wrong with black and white. A very interesting collection that is close to perfection.

Stefano Pilati for Yves Saint Laurent, very french, very unique. I love the shirts hanging out.

YSL, Valentino Pre Fall 2010

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Jan, 2010 at 4:13 under Collections

Stefano Pilati for YSL is a master. The pre fall collection feel very luxurious and lady like. I love the colors.

This is the best I have seen from Valentino since Valentino himself left the house. Perhaps because it feels abit trendy and not so inovative? I miss Mr Valentino.

Chloe, Prada, Mulberry, YSL SS 10

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Dec, 2009 at 8:32 under Campaigns

A lot of campaigns are leaking now and here is a sneak peak of a few. I can not wait for better images.

I love Chloe’s ad. Raquel Zimmerman is beautiful. The styling and the set is really my taste. Classic and simple. However, I feel like this is different from what Chloe has done before, meaning I love it.

Not the best ad for Prada. Rasa Zukauskaite by Steven Meisel. To me it looks weird and boring. The spring 2010 collection was amazing and I am still hoping for something magical.

YSL is sticking with the supermodels. This season with  Natalia Vodianova by Inez and Vinoodh. Is it working? No, not for me. The Claudia ones are better. However, I like the art deco style of it.

Mulberry are loving color for spring and so do I. This is beautiful. Sasha Pivovarova and Viktoriya Sasonkina.

Campaign Rumors

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Oct, 2009 at 11:30 under Campaigns

More campaign rumors flying around. It is said that the spring season will be a safe one for campaigns. Phoebe Philo is said to be using Jurgen Teller and models Valerija Kelava and Carmen Kass for her first Celine campaign.
Natalia Vodianova is rumored to be the next supermodel for YSL photographed by Inez and Vinoodh. I really want to see that one.

Paris Fashion Week, YSL, Celine, Stella McCartney, Vanessa Bruno

Posted by Marina Milojkovic Oct, 2009 at 12:32 under Collections

What is going on with Stefano Pilati for Yves Saint Laurent? This is horrible. It is supposed to be minimalism, chic, natural and modern. To me it is just boring. There is nothing interesting going on, and what’s up with the strawberries on the clothes? No, this is not magic.

Phoebe Philo first collection for Celine and I like it. It feels fresh and a new take on minimalism. The collection is fresh with a lot of khaki. This is almost magic.

Stella McCartney, one of my favorites, knows how to dress a women sexy and comfortable. Season after season she proves that less is more and that it is all about the fit and the details. The collection is more colorful than I am used to with Stella. However, it is magic.

I have some stuff in my closet from Vanessa Bruno and I love them all. Some I had for a long time and some are new. This proves that Vanessa Bruno has been a favorite of mine for a while and she never goes out of style. This collection is all about the lace. It is very beautiful.
