NAGO (New Arrivals Gothenburg)    

One of Fresh Fish's objectives, in addition to displaying Swedish designers, is also to discover international newcomers in the fashion industry. The international part of Fresh Fish is called NAGO, New Arrivals Gothenburg. NAGO will transform Fresh Fish into an international meeting place, where people from different fashion and design cultures will get a chance to exchange ideas and be inspired by each other.





SOUTH KOREA      


The goal of the Textile Art & Fashion Design department of Hongik University is to train future experts. In order to achieve this goal, the students are exposed to the theory and training in practical skills, and encouraged to understand the concepts of modern textile art and Fashion Design. Major courses offered include weaving and dyeing, printing, mixed media, and textiles and Fashion Design. Trained in technical drills and working with computers, our graduates will contribute to enhancing the significance of textile art and Fashion Design in modern society, thus forging the link between academia and industry.

DENMARK      


Copenhagen Academy of Fashion Design has educated clothing-designers since 1983.
Based on a thorough technical fundament, the students are present within all disciplines in the fashion-industry on an international level. Formers students include; Print-designer Torunn Mjånes Myklebust, (Givenchy), designer & founder Lise Nyborg Pedersen (Gentlemens Affair), designer & founder Birna Karen Einarsdottir (BIRNA) introducing designer & founder Maikel Tawadros (MAIKEL TAWADROS)
The course encompasses all the disciplines in ready-to-wear but during the creative projects couture techniques are also applied.
Copenhagen Academy of Fashion Design is proud to present Tora Kristine Valland Sekse, Yanne Møller Wilson and Katrine Behrens as part of the collaboration with Fresh Fish NAGO.

FRANCE      


The NAGO collaboration with Ecole Parsons à Paris, a division of Paris College of Art, that has a long tradition in the arts. Established in 1921 by Frank Alvah Parsons, Ecole Parsons à Paris continues to promote the artistic and intellectual maturation of promising students into exceptional professional artists, designers and design managers through a rigorous art, design and liberal arts education. This rigor has been the foundation for some of fashion’s finest designers such as Tom Ford, Lazaro Hernandez (Proenza Schuler) and Patrick Robinson (Gap). Ecole Parsons à Paris is proud to present Mathilde Jansson, Yelim Hong and Hadley Johnson at the Gothenburg Fashion Fair.

FINLAND      


The NAGO collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland. A couple of their most promisong students will visit the fair and have a separate fashion show each day. They will also have their own showcase where they display their work.


AUSTRIA    


The NAGO collaboration with "University of arts and industrial design" in Linz, Austria. A couple of their most promising students will visit the fair and have a separate fashion show each day. They will also have their own showcase where they display their work.

BELARUS
